Housing · Module · Trim
A three-part system, engineered as one.
Every Elium product shares the same adjustable module and the same trim language. Learn it once and it applies across the whole range.
Why Elium
Quiet ceilings. Consistent recessed lighting.
Six things that hold true across the range, whichever family or size the project calls for.
One optical and mechanical language
The same beam angles, lens compatibility and trim vocabulary carry across 2″, 3″ and 4″, and across residential and commercial families — a project can mix sizes and still read as one ceiling system. Item numbers differ by size and family (heat sink, connectors); the optics and the finished look do not.
Same finished look, any install path
New construction, remodel and retrofit all resolve to the same room-side trim. The install method changes; what the ceiling reads as does not — useful on an addition, a multifamily turnover, or a hospitality renovation done in phases.
Adjustable that can read as fixed
Aiming happens above the trim, in a lockable module — not in a different-looking fixture. Left unadjusted, it reads as fixed. Specify aim where the project needs it; the ceiling plane stays consistent either way.
A focused trim vocabulary
Round or square. Pinhole, bevel or wall wash. Flanged or flangeless. Open, clear, solite or linear lens — linear where wall wash calls for it. White, black, bronze or haze. One clean set, held to on purpose.
Ships quickly
Ships from Los Angeles, California — quickly, with the agent network handling samples, photometrics and submittal packages alongside the order.
Die-cast trim craft
Single-piece die-cast trims hold a tight, consistent reveal — no stamped seams, no visible fasteners, finish-matched across the range.
Optics
Change the beam without changing the fixture.
The patented module accepts secondary optics in the field. If the furniture layout moves after the ceiling closes, the beam angle moves with it — no re-order, no new rough-in.
Trims
Size, shape and reveal — your call.
Precision single-piece die-cast trims in round or square, flanged or flangeless, at 2″, 3″ and 4″. Flangeless installs mud in flush for a ceiling with no visible hardware at all.

Ceiling details
What it looks like when it's done.
A few of the finish conditions the trim language above actually has to resolve.
Flangeless — Millwork
The millwork adapter serves as the cutout template, adjusts to the ceiling’s wood thickness, and lets the trim slide in and out without tools once the finish carpentry is done.
Flangeless — Drywall
A slim spackle frame keeps the mud line tight to the aperture; the finished trim shows only the reflector and lens, with no visible ring against the ceiling plane.
Controls
Dimming that behaves at the bottom of the curve.
1% dimming is standard on 0-10V, TRIAC and ELV. Where the application demands it, 0.1% is available. Tunable White adds dual-channel 0-10V and DALI-2 control.
